It was a fine day for walking, mostly cool under a light overcast, but with periods of sunshine to to help us appreciate the stunning scenery of the Dart Valley.
Shirley and Ann led a good turnout of 16 walkers from Ashprington over the paths and meadows to Totnes, returning along parts of the newly constructed cycleways on the John Musgrave Trail.
Lunch was taken at the Durrant Arms.
Jenni and I first did this walk back in 2007 and I made a video from the photos I took. This time the views were so splendid that I took dozens of photographs which I have presented this time as a slideshow/video which you can see by clicking on the image below.

And just in the interests of nostalgia, take a look at my original video made for the walk in November 2007.
On that occasion the walk was led by Dave & Maureen.
“A beautiful sunny morning walk from Ashprington along the River Dart to Totnes (where Ernie had to be forceably restrained from entering the Chip Shop) before returning to Ashprington for lunch at the Durrant Arms”
