Norma writes:-

Fifteen of us met at another new temporary CP at Noss Marina!  The amount of construction work going on for the new development is truly amazing!
Noss Marina kindly agreed we could use their facilities as so many public WCs are at present closed…
Another lovely dry, bright day.
We walked up through the woods to Bridge Road and onwards – but today, doing this beautiful walk in reverse. Thus, going up a slippy path rather than down.
At the end of the Hoodown woods we followed the path around Waterhead Creek down to Kingswear.
Taking a loop in between the cottages, we paused to look at at the little community garden. It was so nice to find that the overgrown vegetation had been cleared and the garden extended. A lovely spot to sit and view the surroundings…
We then had a laugh seeing who could manage some pebble skimming – quite hard as the river was a bit choppy!  I think Rene was the champion!
Whatever time of year, there is always lots of interest walking along between the R. Dart and the railway. Today we saw the Higher Ferry high and dry up on the slip having its annual overhaul
After returning to our cars we met at the Whiterock Beefeater for one of their bargain lunches and a chat.
Here are Norma’s photos below, followed by Wendy’s and then Kathy.
