Eight of us braved the cold wind for a pleasant walk around Dawlish.
We parked at Henty Avenue and walked along the main road to Dawlish Station. We walked both sides of the Brook looking at the wild fowl and the blossom in bloom.
We visited Coryton Cove and watched the waves crash against the rocks. We walked along the sea wall to the station narrowly avoiding the spray from the waves, as it was high tide. Had to walk up behind the station back to the main road as the waves were crashing all over the sea wall.
We came back to the sea wall via the first bridge over the railway. We walked along to Dawlish Warren and up to Mount Pleasant Inn, where ten of us enjoyed lunch.
The eight of us then returned to our cars by walking along Lady’s Mile. It was warmer in the sun.
Ann was our photographer on this walk and took these splendid photos.
