19th March Churston

On a warm sunny day Arthur led eleven walkers around Churston, its woods and coastline

Arthur writes:- Distant sightings of the tall ships was followed by a feeling of sadness for the loss of the trees in “The Grove” but soon replaced by delight at the sight of thousands of bluebells that today adorned the exposed hillsides.

On this beautiful day at Elberry Cove we  all enjoyed a wonderful view of Torbay with blue skies and blue seas before retiring to the Weary Ploughman for a well earned lunch.
