Jane provided the following description of the walk:-
The trees were sprouting new leaves and the birds were in full song as we walked through the woods  and by the lakes to the river Teign and the water meadows.  The swallows and sand martins had arrived and were feeding on the flies, and with so much to look at we missed the footpath we should have taken and so added another mile to the walk.  We arrived rather  late for lunch at The Welcome Stranger at Liverton, where we had an enjoyable meal.

By the way, Bob would like to remind you all that he is standing down at the end of June, and is willing to help anyone who takes over the job as coordinator.
