9th November – Shaldon and Ringmoor

It was a cold and bright day with the threat of heavy rain showers when Graham led 17 walkers on this very interesting tour of almost 4 miles around Shaldon and Ringmoor showing places seldom visited by many of us.
First we went through the Smugglers Tunnel to Ness Cove, then visited Shaldon Botanical Gardens where Graham informed us of its history. We then moved on to Ringmore, visiting the local church before returning to The London Inn for lunch.
