22nd June – Galmpton

Jenni & I were not on this walk which was led by Jane and Jean.

Jane writes:-
11 other walkers joined Jean and Jane at The Manor Inn at Galmpton for a very misty walk down to the river Dart, up through a field full of horse flies , over styles, and up a slippery path on the way to Greenway.  After previous heavy rain the way was rather damp with all the spring grasses, foxgloves, and general hedgerow plants overflowing the footpaths.  Many lovely glimpses of the river and the sea were seen once the mist had cleared, and we made our way down to the Inn where we were joined by four more members  for a most enjoyable lunch.
