3oth March – Stokeinteignhead

This walk was led by Shirley and Anne who attracted a further 18 walkers on this mild and sunny day, a nice change from the weather which had cancelled the last two walks.

From Stokeinteignhead our leaders marched us up to the top of a steep and stony hill before eventually encountering a very wet patch deemed impenetrable to walkers without a wet suit.
Our plucky leaders marched us back to the bottom of the hill to a more walker-friendly lane where we found a cuddly Shetland pony  to pat before retracing our steps to the Church House Inn where we had the usual excellent menu.
