30th September – Dr Blackall’s Drive

Seven walkers, led by Graham, set out on this 4 mile walk from Bel Tor Corner along Br Blackall’s Drive, visiting Mel Tor along the way. There was a chilly breeze to start the walk but it was very pleasant to be out in the autumn sunshine under blue skies. As the morning warmed we watched the house martins darting around catching insects, no doubt stocking up on energy before their long migration south.
