11 walkers had a very enjoyable 5 1/2 mile walk on a cold but mainly sunny day though an occasional chill wind reminded us that the forecast was for strong winds and rain in the afternoon, a forecast which turned out to wrong.
Leaving the cars at Stover Lake we walked alongside the remnants of the Stover Canal and then back via the River Teign. We then moved the cars to the Star Inn for the traditional “Old Codger’s menu”
(Unfortunately my camera was playing up and the group photos have somehow escaped the confines of the memory card.)
Thanks Arthur for a wonderful walk.
