January 21st – Hennock Reservoirs

This walk was led by Jane and Bob. Bob took all the photos. Jane writes:-

Eight walkers met on a dull but mainly dry day at Parke Estate, Bovey Tracey in 4 cars , and after regrouping used only 2 cars for the final assault on the Reservoirs.

The walk traversed Trenchford and Tottisford Reservoirs, and apart from a few muddy patches the ground conditions were fine and dry.

Having retrieved all cars we relocated at the Star Inn Liverton, where despite a 50p price increase in the lunch fare the meal was thoroughly enjoyed and considered to still be great value.

The walk was unanimously considered to be a great success despite the few numbers.
