April 3rd – Dartington

Under bright blue skies but with the temperature struggling to rise above freezing, Ernie led 17 walkers on a circular tour of the Dartington Estate.

Beside the lake, beneath the trees, fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Along the way we saw a host of golden daffodils –
“along the lake, beneath the trees, fluttering and dancing in the breeze”

The walk through the water meadows alongside the river was so enchanting that Ernie extended the walk further than originally planned in order for us to enjoy the same views from the opposite direction.
