July 28th Dr Blackall’s Drive

Led by Graham

A lovely day for a walk on the Moor.

Leaving our cars on the hill above Newbridge we followed Dr Blackall’s Drive, a carriageway built in the late 19th century by Dr Blackall who lived in nearby Spitchwick Manor.

After fine views over the Dart Gorge we went via Primm’s Cottage to Leusdon Church then on to The Tavistock Inn for lunch.
